Oral and maxillo-facial medicine is the specialty of dentistry that sits at the interface between oral surgery and periodontology, with dermatology being the branch of medicine that is closely related to it.

The ward treats patients with oral symptoms of systemic diseases, benign, pre-cancer disorders, and malignant tumours.

Here belong all types of diseases and malformations whose treatment is carried out in the form of outpatient procedures performed in local anaesthesia or short-time anaesthesia.
