Internationalization is one of the key elements of Higher Education Strategy these days. This extensive program focuses on strengthening the network of relations of the University of Szeged (SZTE) and on increasing its international visibility. What has happened over the past 4 years? Has the SZTE opened the door to the world? – We interviewed the four Vice-Rectors of the SZTE.

Around 6,000 pages of documentation, a 4-hour-long negotiation – the new leadership of the University of Szeged has been introduced. Prof. Dr. László Rovó was appointed the Rector of SZTE for the upcoming four years from 1st July 2018 and introduced the newly-elected Vice-Rectors on a press conference.

The University of Szeged is the 470th on the latest Quacquarelly Symonds (QS) ranking, making progress by moving 30 places forward. As a result, SZTE is the best Hungarian university and it is among the best 12% of the considered universities.

The program completed in April, 2018, was a great opportunity to come and make some small and simple task as an introduction into the laboratory practices of the dental students.

The world of scientific communication is not free of frauds: now and then we can receive unrequested e-mails from these so-called predatory journals. The senders use diverse methods, this time we would like to draw our Readers’ attention to a probably less well-known type of deception.

It is of the utmost importance for the University of Szeged that the citizens of the university make a difference in the community, the city where they live, study and work. Therefore, on April 10, 2018, on the 100th day of the year, they attempt to call attention to the importance of regular blood donation with more than one hundred successful blood donations.
