The Perspectives in Perio-Implantology and Comprehensive Dentistry conference looks back on more than a decade of history, creating a unique possibility for scientific discussion and exchange of experience with world-renowned performers. Not only the participating dentists and care professionals benefit from the acquisition of professional knowledge, but also the patients of dental care, as the aim of the conference is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of the patient care through its scientific program.

Nearly 700 guests visited the two-day conference. Besides the Hungarian professionals, participants from many countries – among others from Brazil, Korea, Estonia, Germany, Switzerland, United States, Italy and Romania – arrived. Besides the nearly 50 Hungarian exhibitors, as a special novelty of the conference 16 Korean companies - associated with the dental profession - introduced themselves. The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Yim Geun-hyeong participated in the solemn opening ceremony of the “Korean Corner”, introducing the intensively developing Korean dental products.

As in previous years, prior to the conference hands-on courses with presentations by world-famous German and Swiss professionals took place. A special section ensured the possibility of professional development for the care professionals, allowing to improve their knowledge in the field of ambulance infection control.

The conference offers an opportunity to recognize the young talents and the senior professionals of the dental profession. The awardees of the scientific applications announced by the Association of Hungarian Dentists have been welcomed and the Jolán Bánóczy medal was handed over.
